Mehra family had just finished their dinner and were sitting discussing something or the other when Abhinav interrupted.

"I want to tell you all about something"said Abhinav, in an hesistant voice, his nervousness evident in his tone.

"Kya kehna hai bolo" said Prerna,his mother sensing his nervousness and being concerned for him.Aashi,Arsh and Niyati exchanged glances knowing where this was going, but still ready to support their brother.

"Vo actually I like someone" spoke Abhinav trying to overcome his nervousness finally revealing what he has to say.

The elders looked at each other for a minute then Karan, Abhinav's father asked"Kon hai vo ladki"in a serious tone.

"Vidhi, company mai head designer hai"said Abhinav nervously. Though he is the owner of a company now, but still nothing can help him hide his nervousness from his parents, but he also knew that it was necessary.

After what felt like an eternity, Prithvi finally spoke" Thik hai fir, we will talk with her parents".

After hearing this a smile made a way on his face. Aashi and Niyati could not contain their happiness and engulfed Abhinav in a warm hug . Arsh joined in too.

"To finally ab bhabhi aane Wali hai" teased Arsh while Niyati and Aashi teased him too.

Abhinav, not being able to hide his blush anymore spoke"Ab jaake padhlo sab, jaao."

Vidhi was walking to and fro in her room nervously biting her nails when Vihaan interrupted her "Are itni kya tension le rahi ho"

"Vahi jyada se jyada mana Kar denge aur kya" continued Vedant teasing her to ease her nervousness.

"Chup karo tum dono" spoke Vidhi in a helpless tone not knowing how to convey this to her parents.

Agastya held her hand and made her sit on bed."Calm down di. We all are with you. Everything will be fine. Agar parents agree nahi karenge to hum kuch baat karenge abhi aap itna tense mat ho aur chill Karo."

Vidhi engulfed him in a hug hearing his words. Vedant and Vihaan joined too. Being the only sister to her three brothers, she had always been a princess to them though she is eldest and Agastya has always had a way to calm her. His words had always given her relief.

Finally gathering the courage from his words, Vidhi with her brothers made way into living room where their parents were sitting watching TV.

"Mujhe kuch kehna hai" Said Vidhi confidently though her heart was beating really fast.

"Haan beta bolo kya hua?" Asked Vipul, her father.

"Vo papa I-I like someone" said Vidhi her confidence melting as she finally revealed it to her parents.

The elders looked surprised at the relevation. " Kon hai vo ladka?" Asked Maya in a calm yet strict voice.

"Chachi, vo Abhinav" replied Vidhi fidgeting with her fingers, fear evident on her face.

"Abhinav? Tere boss?" asked Komal to which Vidhi nodded.

"Thik hai fir baat karte hai uske parents se." Spoke Prem and Vidhi squealed in happiness while her brothers engulfed her in a happy hug.

" Haan par ek baar sab dekh kar hi decide karenge hum" said Vipul to which Vidhi nodded smiling.

As Niyati and Aashi are standing in front of Malhotra house, Aashi's heart is beating really fast.A mix of feeling of excitement and nervousness adorned her heart.

"Dekh tera sasural" whispered Niyati to Aashi to which she glared at her but a red hue formed on her cheeks without her permission.

Niyati pressed the doorbell and soon Vihaan opened the gate and asked them to come inside. Niyati and Aashi greeted Komal and Maya.

"Namaste Aunty" said Niyati and Aashi in unison while the ladies blessed them.

They settled on sofa when Vidhi entered and greeted them with a hello which they reciprocated and then introduced themselves.

"Acha to tum project ke liye aaye ho, Yai Vedant kaha chala gaya" asked Vidhi looking around.

"Aree usko call aagaya Tha bas aa raha hai" replied Vihaan.

Vani entered in a light yellow kurti with blue jeans checking a message on her phone when she collided with someone.

"Sorr-" stopped Vani in between as she looked at Vedant and her soft expression turned into angry in a second.

"Dekh kar nahi chal sakte tum"asked Vani narrowing her eyes.

"Achaa chalte chalte phone chalao tum aur blame mujh par daalo."

"Whatever" replied Vani rolling her eyes.

"Ek baat Batao tumhe mujhse problem kya hai, jab dekho kaatne ko daudti ho "

"Kya hai na mujhe tum bilkul pasand hi nahi ho" said Vani

"To mujhe bhi koi tumhare saath Zindagi nahi guzarni hai. The feelings are mutual." He said folding his hands.

And Vani went inside the house with a 'whatever' while Vedant followed behind.

Trishna dressed in a lavender tshirt and black jeans with a bagpack entered the Malhotra house when she heard some voices from the garden and looked at the side and saw Shrey, Agastya and Kashvi sitting on the bench talking and laughing about something.

Her eyes stopped on Shrey who looked really good in just a simple white tee and black jeans. As he laughed, Trishna felt something  bubbling in her heart. She could not take her eyes off him. Every simple action of him felt extraordinary to her. Only the ringing of her phone bought her out from her staring session. She picked the call which was Aashi's.

"Aaj aapka padharne ka plan hai ya nahi Maharani Ji"asked Aashi in a mocking tone.

"Aree aa gayi bas" replied Trishna as she entered the living room where the group with Vidhi was sitting.

Soon they moved to Vedant's room and started discussing on the topic.

"To project prepare karne ke liye we have 4 days. Hum aaj research karke points prepare kar lete hai and kal se we will start with making charts and presentation." Said Vani to which everyone nodded and started Google searching about the topic on their phones and laptop.

"So women empowerment ke upar hi research karna hai right?" Asked Vihaan

"Kyu? It is about both the genders. Both have their own problems and incidents. Agar Women empowerment par hi hota to Ma'am dono genders ke involvement ke liye kyu insist karti.Men have their own issues too and that is the reason you both are included. Google search ke saath khud ke personal experiences bhi likho, the pros and cons of being a male." Vani spoke with a confident manner to which Vihaan nodded.

Vedant smiled listening her views. Though they have an old enemity between them but still her views surprised him that how she not only wants to talk about women empowerment but also about the life and struggles of a man.

After three hours, they were finished for the day and made their way downstairs, as they were all ready to go to their house, when Vidhi interrupted " Are kaha Ja rahe ho, I made samosas. Koi Bina khaaye nahi jaayega"

Though the girl's insisted, Vidhi forced them all to stay for the samosas.

As they all settled on the table, Agastya with Shrey and Kashvi joined them too.

Aashi and Trishna, both became aware.

Aashi's heartbeat quickened as Agastya was just sitting in front of her while Vedant introduced them all.

As they started eating , suddenly Aashi and Agastya grabbed the same Samosa from the middle table. Agastya withdrawed it from his hands, allowing her to take it, while she passed him a smile which he returned.

Kashvi and Vidhi kept on talking with girls on one or the other topic to make them comfortable.After eating, all of them were ready to go to their respective houses when Vani gets a call from her father who informed her that he cannot come to pick her up due to some important work.

"Koi baat nahi papa mai rickshaw kar lungi" replied Vani ending the call.

" Areee beta shaam ho gayi hai, it's not safe going alone, Vedant will drop you." Said Maya concerned as she looked around and found Vedant sitting there watching TV while Agastya and Vihaan had already gone to their rooms.

Vani and Vedant looked at each other shocked." Nahi Aunty, you do not have to worry. Mai chali jaaungi" replied Vani.

"I will drop you." Said Vedant getting up and taking the bike keys.

"Aree aunty aapko bother hone ki need nahi hai mai chali jaungi" said Vani glaring Vedant but Maya insisted again and finally Vani agreed.

Vedant took out his bike from parking when Vani spoke " Mai chali jaati".

"Pata hai" replied Vedant casually

"Tumhe drop karne ki jarurat nahi thi"said Vani not wanting to concern him unnecessarily.

"Ye bhi pata hai" replied Vedant.

"To drop kyu kar rahe ho" asked Vani folding her hands near her chest.

"Because I want to" said Vedant and gestured her to climb on the bike.

Vani was taken aback by his confession and finally sat on the bike maintaining a safe distance.She told him the address. Suddenly a bumper came in the way and she unintentionally kept her hands on his shoulder. Vedant suddenly felt a sudden spark but as she understood what she did Vani took off her hands from his shoulders muttering a small sorry.

Soon they reached the destination. As vedant started his bike to go Vani suddenly called him "Suno"

He looked at her"Yes"

"Thank you" said Vani with a small smile.

"Aaj suraj kaha se nikala Tha, tum mujhe thank you bol rahi ho mujhe" replied Vedant with a teasing smile.

"Are mai to bhul hi gayi thi ki tumhe taarif hazam nahi hoti" said Vani and turned to go into her house but this time he interrupted her "Suno".

She turned back and looked at him"Haa bolo"

"Good night Vani".

"Good Night Vedant"Said Vani with sincerity in her voice and finally made her way to her home with a small smile playing on her lips.

Vedant turned his bike to go to his house but before that he looked at her house once again and smiled remembering their small interaction where they had talk without any fight for the first time.

Next morning Aashi was walking back to her class from washroom when she heard a voice that made her stop in her tracks. Suddenly she became conscious of her appearence and straightened her tie.

"Aashi, suno" called Agastya.

Aashi turned and took in his appearence. She thought about how he looks so good even in the plain school uniform and how his smile is really charming. She could not help but notice his deep dark brown eyes and his perfectly angled face when he interrupted her thoughts.

"Ye notebook Vedant ko de dena please" said Agastya Passing the notebook to her but before she can take it, it slipped from his hand and fell on the floor.

They both bowed together to pick up the book and their hands brushed against each other. Both of them felt something bubbling inside their heart. Though it was just a touch, it was special and they both knew it in their heart.They both looked at each other and shared a eye contact which though was small but was enough to melt their hearts.

Aashi picked up the book and he smiled at her to which she nodded with a small shy smile and they both turned to go to their respective classes. As soon as he turned to opposite direction Aashi looked at her hand where his hand touched and then smiled making sure to not touch it so that she could still feel his hand brushing against hers.

She entered her class and passed the book to Vedant. Then she turned to Vani and whispered in her ears all excited but still looking at board so that the teacher could not notice their gossiping " Tujhe pata hai abhi just mera Agastya ke saath eye contact hua aur aur aur  haath bhi touch hua"

"Seriously, class ke baad ache se batana. Un dono ko bhi to batana padega na." replied Vani enthusiastically and both girls planned to tell it to other two after the class while Vedant looked at her weirdly as he catched his brother's name between their whispering not understanding why he was the part of their conversation.
